When basketball star Troy Bolton meets shy scholar Gabriella Montez, all barriers are broken at East High. Despite the status quo, they surprise their classmates by having the courage to show their hidden talents.
After a drama filled school year, the Wildcats spend a hot summer at the Lava Springs Country Club. As Troy, Gabriella and the gang work summer jobs at the club, Sharpay schemes to get Troy to perform with her in the Midsummer's Night Talent Show. In the end, the Wildcats stay all for one!
